Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, Q-Pulse Risk and PleaseReview will be implemented to support Joramco’s organisational growth with particular focus on quality, safety and risk

Ideagen, the UK-based, global software firm, has announced it is to supply its software to a major aircraft maintenance organisation in the Middle East.

Joramco, an independent commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation based in Jordan, will adopt Ideagen’s Q-Pulse, Q-Pulse Risk and PleaseReview products.

Joramco will use Ideagen’s software as it aims to automate and support key processes associated with its quality, safety, risk and regulatory requirements.

Jeff Wilkinson, CEO of Joramco, said: “We are delighted to be working with Ideagen, a leading player in the development and provision of aviation safety and quality management software.

“This is a crucial and ambitious project for Joramco for a number of reasons. We are growing at an exciting rate and as our business continues to win contracts and increases the scale of our operations, additional pressures will be added to the current manual processes.

“Our skilled and highly trained quality and safety teams identified a need for an immediate change to the way in which the quality and safety management systems are managed and we are both delighted and excited to announce Ideagen as our chosen software supplier.”

Operating for more than 50 years, Joramco – majority owned by the Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DEA) since 2016 – has maintained a strong track record as a leading commercial aircraft MRO organisation.

Joramco serves a wide range of customers across the Middle east, Europe, Asia, Africa, Russia and across the Commonwealth of Independenet Estates (CIS), offering services on several aircraft models from the likes of Airbus, Boeing and Embraer fleets. The company is certified by a number of international authorities including the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in addition to the approval of Jordan’s Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC).

The company’s project with Ideagen will see all departments within Joramco adopt Q-Pulse for core quality and safety functions. The system will also be opened up to external organisations that are key customers of Joramco with data stored in Q-Pulse assessed through Q-Pulse Risk to provide Joramco management with detailed visibility of risks throughout the business.

Ideagen’s PleaseReview – used by hundreds of organisations globally for detailed document co-authoring, redaction and review projects – will be implemented for collaboration work on internal manuals and other forms of documentation and standard operating procedures within the business.

Joe Moore, Ideagen’s Aviation, Aerospace & Defence Consultant for the Middle East, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have this opportunity to work with such an established MRO organisation in the form of Joramco.

“We are confident that this project, which involves the implementation of three of our software applications, will not only meet the requirements of Joramco but exceed their expectations for efficient Quality, Safety, Compliance and Risk Management.

“Ideagen and Joramco share key customers and we are looking forward to establishing a strong working relationship with the team there in what we believe will be a project with great strategic importance for both organisations.”

Ideagen is a leader in providing software solutions for the aviation market. The company has delivered successful projects with over 300 aviation organisations globally including established clients in the MRO field such as Etihad Airways Engineering, Lufthansa Technik, SR Technics and HAECO.
