With a history dating back almost half a century, Intel’s network of design and production facilities in the country has been pivotal in shaping the company’s dominance in computer chips. Nvidia Corp., the leading manufacturer of chips used in artificial intelligence systems, has also established a substantial foothold in Israel.

Currently, around 12,800 people are employed by Intel at various locations across Israel. The work conducted in these facilities encompasses cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence and self-driving cars.
