Fourth place in the rankings goes to Mexico, with 10,141,633 people following Mexican streamers, averaging to 5,070,817 per individual. The country comes in at second for the number of followers gained over the last 30 days per channel with 188,734.

The UK ranks fifth on the list, thanks to more than 4.3 million followers per streamer. Eight British streamers appeared on the top 50 channels list, which is the second-highest total out of all the countries that made the list, behind the USA.

Commenting on the study, a spokesperson for vpnoverview.com said: “The popularity of Twitch continues to grow and these figures demonstrate just how big the top streamers can become. It’s fascinating to analyse the data and see that despite American streamers making up nearly half of the top 50, it’s Spanish Twitch stars who have the highest average follower count.”
