SPCE Group is delighted to announce the development of the Lite platform. Lite is transforming the marketing, advertising and listing of all private sector housing for universities and their students. Each student has the availability to download the mobile app to improve their student experience to assist with securing their accommodation.
Lite is a highly scalable and resilient mobile based platform which accommodates a vast array of private sector housing options, including properties from private landlords, estate agents and larger purpose built student accommodation providers (PBSA’s)
SPCE Group was appointed by the University of London to design a platform for their 180,000 students studying at their partner institutions, including LSE, King’s College and UCL, representing 20% of UK Higher Education.
In partnership with the University of London, we have now further developed the platform launching Lite, for university clients, seeking a straightforward, cost effective solution to facilitate introductions and enquiries between students and private housing providers.
Key Features of the Lite Platform
The Lite platform allows you to:
Verify, approve, and onboard, large portfolios of proprietary or third party real estate.
Operate a property provider membership scheme for recurring access to your platform.
Distribute automated invoices to third party customers.
Operate a live help centre for private housing advisors to provide ongoing stakeholder support.
Access detailed operational, and financial reporting.
Reduce the administrative burden of providing off-campus accommodation
Create fully customised reports in your dashboard using information about client payments, subscriptions, customers, and payouts. Financials can be exported into a central finance system.
And for students:
Increase student satisfaction rates
Allowing International students with the tools they need to find local off-campus accommodation from their home country.
Providing safe, pre-verified and high quality accommodation alternatives for students who are unable to live in a university or college hall of residence once it’s reached maximum capacity.
Enabling students to search for suitable off-campus properties in groups via an attractive user interface.
The platform is available via desktop and mobile.

Generate Revenue with Lite
In addition to the benefits outlined above, there are also opportunities for the universities to generate revenue which include:
Annual Accreditation or Membership: This is a fee you are able to charge annually (automatically via the platform) to property providers, to register and maintain membership on the platform, for access to high quality student referrals.
Property Listing Boosting: This is a fee charged annually (automatically via the platform) to property providers to enable their listings to “feature” higher up in the search results for a fixed period of time should they wish.
Your Branded Marketing Website: You are able to charge a fee to property providers for rotating banners, on a separate, bespoke, beautifully designed marketing and content website.
