The Travel Boxx Launches New Subscription Service To Spotlight Small Travel Businesses

The Travel Box

Today, The Travel Boxx announces the launch of a brand-new travel product subscription service designed to spotlight start-up travel businesses and small-scale travel brands. Available from 15 February, the quarterly subscription service will offer subscribers five TSA-approved travel essentials in each box, carefully curated to save travellers time and money, while helping to boost brand awareness for small businesses. Items will include smart gadgets, skincare and accessories, ranging from collapsible water bottles and paper soaps to packing cubes and smart power adapters. Founded in the middle of the pandemic, The Travel Boxx aims to provide a platform for small businesses, at a time when it is most needed.

Caroline Sande, founder of The Travel Boxx, says, “The pandemic has really brought home that the way we travel needs to change. We need to be more conscious about the decisions we make – where and how we travel, the brands we choose, and the products we buy. As an entrepreneur, I’ve seen the impact the pandemic has had on the travel industry, particularly on small brands and start-ups. I wanted to create a space that encourages collaboration between those brilliant minds and businesses, while also providing a useful product to customers”.

Sande is a long-time champion of small and underrepresented businesses. She is the woman behind travel collective and apparel brand TravelEatSlay, which aims to create lasting travel memories through collaboration and community. In 2020, she spearheaded TheBlack Travel Directory, a directory of over 250 Black-owned brands, content creators, bloggers and industry service providers, to address lack of diversity in the travel industry.

Sande adds, “The Travel Boxx was born out of conversations with my peers – fellow content creators and entrepreneurs – on a lack of a single trusted subscription service that can provide all the essentials travellers need in one box. Customers get to try out products and gadgets from brands they may not have otherwise discovered and can enjoy exclusive member-only discounts at the same time too.”

To mark the launch, The Travel Boxx is selling 30 limited-edition boxes, available for a one-off purchase, containing three bonus products, in addition to the standard issue five products. Each box costs £30, with a minimum RRP of £90. Boxes are delivered in the first week of each quarter, every March, June, September and December.
