X maintains a policy against Holocaust denial, categorising it as prohibited content.

Holocaust denial refers to the denial or distortion of historical facts surrounding the Holocaust, during which over 1.1 million individuals, predominantly Jews, were brutally murdered in the Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp in German-occupied Poland.

Among the victims were more than 200,000 children and young people who suffered atrocities such as gas chamber killings, starvation, forced labuor, and medical experimentation.

When the Auschwitz Museum reported the offensive reply, X’s initial response stated that no rules had been broken based on the “available information.”

X later acknowledged that this initial decision was an error and conducted a second review, ultimately leading to the removal of the post.
