The Pro Bono Initiative will Support 50 International Businesses and 10 UK Startups Planning Expansion in the UK with Training, Mentorship + Strategy

Banjo Communications, a leading UK PR agency specialising in tech and innovation, today announced the launch of its Go-to-Market UK Accelerator Series. The programme offers 50 international scaleups, and 10 UK startups go-to-market UK training, mentorship and strategy – designed to help businesses explore and understand how to enter and grow in the market. This initiative is open for applications from August until 31st October 2025, and will be offered pro bono.
Positioned as a global hub for innovation, investment, and one of the world’s most digitally engaged populations – the UK remains a strategic launchpad for ambitious, internationally minded companies. However, while in 2024–25, the UK attracted 1,375 FDI projects (foreign direct investment) – this was coupled with a 12% drop in overall investment – a sign of the increasing pressures founders and leaders face when deciding when and where to scale.
In response, the Go-to-Market UK Accelerator Series is designed to deliver high-impact strategic insight – pro bono – helping founders better understand the UK landscape before committing significant time or resources.
Applications open from August 2025 to 31st October 2025 for leadership teams with Series A funding or beyond, planning UK expansion within the next 12 months.
Successful applicants will be invited to complete a short questionnaire before being matched with a senior consultant who has hands-on experience scaling high-growth global companies – including those that have gone on to become household names and industry leaders.
The process begins with an exclusive consultancy session to explore your business and assess where it could be best positioned in the UK market. From there, the team will guide participants through the Go-to-Market UK Accelerator Series, focused on:
- Understanding UK audience behaviours and regional cultural nuances
- Navigating the UK media landscape with confidence and clarity
- Localised messaging and positioning that resonates while staying true to your brand identity
- Key dos and don’ts for successfully launching and scaling in the UK market
- Pre-launch considerations, including which key stakeholders and associations to engage
- Building a go-to-market roadmap to understand if your product and service is right for the UK market
This support gives scaleups the confidence to make smart expansion decisions – cutting risk and speeding growth in a competitive market.
