Music For Pets’ Latest Album “Dreaming Dog” Continues to Redefine Pet Audio for Dogs and Humans

Music For Pets, a Create Music Group label and a global leader in pet-focused audio content, today announced the launch of Dreaming Dog, a 13-track album developed to reduce anxiety in dogs while maintaining high production values for human listeners.

Music for Pets was founded in Manchester, UK, by Leeds native entrepreneur Amman Ahmed, and the release underscores the mission to combine behavioural science with premium music production, creating new opportunities at the intersection of pet wellness and the streaming economy.

Produced by GRAMMY® Award-winning music producer ANTAEUS, recognised for his work on Julian Marley’s Color of Royal (Best Reggae Album, 66th GRAMMY Awards), Dreaming Dog introduces a new standard for functional music. The album integrates scientific principles of sound therapy with global music trends, featuring elements of South African Amapiano, reggae influences and live instrumentation by Carnegie Hall performer Charu Suri and Cirque du Soleil vocalist Erini. Tracks such as Peace in Chaos incorporate desensitisation techniques – embedding mild versions of common stress-inducing sounds, such as fireworks – into calming soundscapes to help pets build resilience to environmental triggers.

“Our objective was to create an album that not only soothes anxious pets but also holds strong appeal for human audiences,” said Amman Ahmed, President of Music For Pets and VP, Business Development at Create Music Group. “By combining deep expertise in animal behaviour with world-class music production, we are creating intellectual property that can scale across multiple sectors, including streaming, licensing, and the $200 billion global pet wellness industry. We are also preparing ‘Dreaming Dog’ for GRAMMY consideration this year, which is a thrilling milestone.”

“This wasn’t an easy project; we had to create music that would truly calm dogs while also appealing to human listeners. Our goal was twofold: to help pets relax and to craft tracks that could live beyond the pet space, with real potential for film, TV and commercial licensing,” said ANTAEUS, GRAMMY Award-Winning Producer, Dreaming Dog. “What we ended up with is a genre-blending album that lives between ambient electronic, lo-fi and subtle reggae influences, with live instrumentation that adds real depth. It’s relaxing, musically rich and purposefully designed to connect with both dogs and people.”

Music For Pets operates within a rapidly growing market segment where consumer demand for specialised, science-backed content for animals is increasing. With over one billion streams in 2024 and more than 20 million pets globally consuming 12 million hours of content each month, the company’s flagship brands – Relax My Dog and Relax My Cat – have become category leaders across Spotify, YouTube and other digital platforms.
