Headquartered in London, PitchMe was launched in 2019 and secured seed funding in 2020. The company uses AI and machine learning technology to remove unconscious bias in hiring, which helps foster diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It also helps candidates upskill through analysis of their career profile and identifying areas where they can improve their skills.

PitchMe’s core product is its SmartMe candidate profile, which aims to replace traditional CVs with an alternative candidate profiling system based solely on abilities. It leverages machine learning technology to offer a multi-layered view of a candidate’s skills by combining traditional sources, such as a CV, with a candidate’s digital data — which can include personal or business websites, social profiles, blogs, online games and more.

PitchMe’s SaaS solution provides recruiters and HR professionals with a more comprehensive insight into each candidate, making the hiring process more intelligent and efficient. It also continues PitchMe’s mission to remove hiring bias by keeping each SmartMe profile anonymous — so that candidates are hired for their hard and soft skills, and not because of any identifying factors that may unconsciously influence the hiring process.

PitchMe’s SaaS solution plugs into existing CRM and ATS systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.), helping recruiters and employers make more placements in less time for a fraction of the cost.

PitchMe’s early adopters have included Spinks (part of the Harvey Nash Group) and Miro, who currently continue to use the software. According to their feedback, PitchMe has reduced screening time by up to 80% and doubled placement value.
