Legislate is a legal technology company founded in Oxford in 2020 which makes it easy for non-lawyers to safely create, manage and search lawyer-approved contracts on no legal budget. Legislate’s contract management software is built on patented knowledge graph technology which makes contract data usable and searchable at scale. For example, employers can quickly answer questions like “How many of my software developers with a tenure greater than 2 years are still on a 30 day notice period?”.
In July 2022, Legislate crossed 100 paying customers and received its second US patent for its approach to modelling contracts with knowledge graphs.
For the rest of 2022, Legislate plans to roll out its public API so that third party software platforms can offer dynamic contracts to their users in a seamless way.
Legislate has raised £1.15M to-date from Parkwalk Advisors and Perivoli Innovations.
