Meet the Judges
Richard Mabey, Co-Founder & CEO of Juro
- Richard Mabey is the co-founder and CEO of all-in-one contract automation platform, Juro. Former M&A lawyer at Freshfields, Richard honed his appetite for cutting-edge legaltech at LegalZoom before founding Juro in 2016
- When not taking Juro from strength to strength, Richard spends his spare time making angel investments to support similarly ambitious and game-changing legaltech projects
- In 2019, he was named one of the top ten legal technologists globally by the FT, and was recently shortlisted for the scale-up entrepreneur of the year by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards

- Ilana Koffman is a reporter at TechRound and spends her days researching and interviewing young and successful entrepreneurs across the UK startup industry

As always, this year we were extremely impressed with the calibre of entries, with some of the most outstanding SaaS companies across finance, education, SEO, property, online booking solutions, and amongst others, virtual events, sharing their stories and their successes.
It is always great to see entries from firms involved in cryptocurrencies and blockchain, especially considering the growth of this industry in the last year. Many of these SaaS solutions are making them more accessible to the general public.
We saw a huge rise in the amount of SaaS platforms aiming to help people better manage their finances and save on costs by comparing alternatives. Considering the struggles we all face with the Cost of Living Crisis, this was wonderful to see.
