Tell Us About Datactics

We’re a 35-person strong Data Readiness company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Datactics specialises in user-friendly data quality and matching software to help business teams get more from their data. Our software platform is used by international banks and major governments with issues related to data quality.

Our clients have large amounts of information relating to customers, suppliers and transactions which they want to profile, clean and de-duplicate. The end goal is for critical business functions such as regulatory reporting, enabling data as a service, and creating a single customer view, all of which require clean and well-structured data. This data is also key to fuelling effective AI projects.

What sets us apart is our people, bringing significant expertise across the tech sector and our core verticals, working collaboratively to create lasting long-term relationships, and ultimately, being passionate about data, making a difference in the world.

Why Do You Think the Sector Needed An Innovation Like This?

We believe that data quality and matching go hand-in-hand for a single view of customers or citizens. Improved data quality improved matching, mostly via de-duplication, which is an essential part of accuracy in regulatory reporting or better understanding of customers. It’s unusual to find both capabilities in the same platform.

For financial services, this can relate to regulatory services such as the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, which puts pressure on banks to adapt swiftly, remain compliant and be audit-ready. For police forces, this can lead to more accurate crime classifications to ensure cases are reported and handled more efficiently. For healthcare, this can help reduce wait times and streamline diagnoses.

Our platform also allows subject matter experts at a client to build powerful workflows using data quality and matching, without the need for programming skills.

How Has Datactics Grown In 2025?

It’s been a really successful year for Datactics, growing revenue by over 30 per cent. We’ve also added five new retail banks for a highly innovative service that allows them to comply with banking regulations on the basis of an accurate and fast single customer view.

We’ve become more embedded in the real-world problems that data is solving and, importantly, how it is making a difference.

From flying out to IACP in Denver to speak to law enforcement agencies to working closely with banks to provide our digital data sandbox for FSCS regulations, one of our biggest areas of growth has been understanding the specific needs of each sector and each challenge, which has allowed us to build the best solution.

What Does Datactics Have In Store for 2026?

Datactics will continue to explore AI for data quality, focusing on the application of better data for organisations, and ultimately the end user, whether that’s business staff or consumers.

We understand the importance of better data, but data quality without context is meaningless, and that requires not only tech people to understand why this matters, but also non-tech stakeholders who may be the budget holders for digital transformation projects.

Having already added automatic rule suggestion, we are now exploring how we can use autonomous AI agents to proactively monitor and fix data issues across the data stack.

We want to sit down and understand what exactly people want to achieve so that we can use data projects to extract value from the initiatives they care about most. This turns the conversation from one about the importance of data readiness, quality and governance to one about real-world outcomes that drive efficiency and positive change for society through context.
