Adzuna announced on Thursday that they have acquired Work In Startups, the UK’s leading job site for tech startups.
Founded in 2011, Work In Startups set out to connect young companies with like-minded talent. They boast a user base of 100,000 and clients including Amazon Web Services, Stack Overflow and The Bakery.
Adzuna did not disclose the terms of the deal, but say that Work In Startups will remain separate and job listings will still be free to post.
“We see the platform as a rough diamond, with a strong community already and bags of additional potential to grow and improve the experience for both advertisers and jobseekers,” said Adzuna co-founder Doug Monro.
“We look forward to working with the community to continue to make hiring top talent for UK startups faster, easier and better.”
