Company Name: Event Rhino
Founded in 2017 by entrepreneur Jon, Event Rhino offers photo booths for hire around Hertfordshire and London, including areas such as Royston, Watford and St Albans, right to the centre of town including a recent job for Channel 4 in Waterloo.
With more than 150 events per year, Jon explains how the business started covering a lot of weddings and parties, but today has shifted towards corporate events, with a photo booth being a popular choice for work parties and wrap parties too.
With a team of 5 people, it can often increase to 10 staff during the busy times and meeting the demand.
The vintage booth is the classic booth that you see at parties and functions, with the standard box and flashing light above. You have the options to personalise it with the digital booth which is more portable and can display different icons and designs over or around the individuals head and body.
With every booth comes the option for accessories to throw on during the photo with their friends and all images are printed as polaroids and the option to include these in a guest book and write a personalised message for the corporate event, wedding bride and groom, Bar Mitzvah or confirmation.
The Rhino 360X booth offers a unique 360 perspective of the people in the frame, creating excellent photos and was executed perfectly in the recent job for The Colour Run.
Haines talks about his excitement as they gear up to the summer season. “With covid cases down, we are certainly excited for the summer. The brides are starting to make their plans and with outdoor venues and weddings likely to be popular, we expect a really busy summer ahead of us.”
The startup boasts a number of impressive corporate clients in addition to Channel 4. This includes Ariel, Nike and Google.
“With covid, people want to go that extra mile for their weddings and having a photo booth has almost become standard. We are just delighted to be involved in any way that we can and make the day special for the couple.”
