Startup of the Week: Vidsy

Startup-of-the-Week

Our Startup of the Week for this week is…Vidsy! Helping world-leading brands to accelerate their presence via mobile video advertising.

Vidsy works by utilising a global community of over 7,000 vetted creators, helping to bring brands into the mobile online advertising space. Through a combination of their unique technology and extensive creative community, Vidsy is helping brands evolve their advertising to suit the new digital era, with experts managing the creative process every step of the way, as the company state – “aligning to your brand objectives and helping you go beyond best practice.”

The startup was co-founded by Alex Morris, Gerard Keeley and Archie Campbell in 2015. Although all new to the advertising industry, the three co-founders launched Vidsy, and have gone on graduate from the Founders Factory and won the 2017 Facebook Innovation Spotlight award for Creativity Around Video. Recently, the startup was also dubbed by The Financial Times as 2020’s 44th fastest growing company.

Since its launch, Vidsy has undergone 3 rounds of funding, raising a total of £5.9 million, a large portion of this coming from their latest Series A round, which fetched a collective £4.3 million from 4 different investors.

In only five years the startup has achieved creative partnerships with most of the major global social networking sites; including the likes of Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and more.
