Startup Of The Year 2026: Vote For Your Favourite Startup!

Every week, TechRound shines a spotlight on a startup that’s doing something worth talking about. Now, we’re bringing those startups together for something a little bigger.

For the first time ever, we’re launching the TechRound Startup of the Year, giving our community the chance to decide which of our Startups of the Week deserves to take the ultimate crown for 2026.

Featuring startups recognised by TechRound from January through to the end of October, this is your opportunity to revisit some of the brilliant businesses we’ve featured, discover companies you might have missed and cast your vote for the one you believe deserves to win.

But this isn’t just about picking a winner; it’s about celebrating the founders taking risks, solving problems, challenging the status quo and turning their ideas into something real. Building a startup is rarely an easy ride, and the people behind these businesses deserve recognition for the work that goes into making them happen.

What Should You Consider When Voting?

There are plenty of reasons to get behind a startup, and there’s no single formula for choosing a winner. As you look through the nominees, consider:

  • Innovation: Is the startup doing something different, challenging conventional thinking or approaching a problem in a new way?
  • Impact: Is the business making a meaningful difference for its customers, industry or wider community?
  • Potential: Does the startup have an exciting vision for the future and the potential to grow?
  • Execution: Has the team turned an idea into a real product, service or business that people can use?
  • Your personal favourite: Perhaps you’ve followed the founders’ journey, used their product or simply think they’re doing something brilliant. That’s a good enough reason to support them!

How To Cast Your Vote

Getting involved is simple, and the best part is that you get to help decide the winner. Here’s what to do:

  • Explore the nominees: Take a look through the Startups of the Week featured by TechRound between January and the end of October 2026; you’ll find the list below.
  • Choose your winner: Decide which startup you believe deserves the title of TechRound Startup of the Year.
  • Cast your vote: Follow the voting instructions via the form at the bottom of this page to make your choice count.
  • Spread the word: Share the campaign with friends, colleagues and fellow startup enthusiasts to encourage more people to get involved.
  • Celebrate the community: Whether your favourite wins or not, take this opportunity to support the founders and businesses pushing the startup ecosystem forward.

Ultimately, we’re putting the decision in the hands of the people who make the startup ecosystem what it is: our readers, founders, colleagues, friends and wider TechRound community. So, take a look through the nominees, choose your favourite and cast your vote. Every vote is a chance to give credit where it’s due and recognise the hard work that goes into building a startup.
