Applause, a global leader in digital quality and crowdsourced testing, yesterday launched its Bring Your Own Testers (BYOT) feature which enables clients to invite their internal teams – employees, friends, family members and existing customers – to test cycles in the Applause Platform.
Founded in 2007, Applause was born from a simple idea: to provide an easy way for software testers to make extra money testing apps. With highly vetted testers available on demand around the globe, the company provides brands with a full suite of services, including exploratory testing, test case execution, test automation, security assessments, usability testing, accessibility testing, testing of voice and AI apps.
Organisations often want to engage their employees or a network of customer advocates who can provide early feedback on a new software release or capability. The Bring Your Own Testers feature uses Applause’s established SaaS platform and processes for tester management, test execution, and delivery of results.
