Yonder Launches Premium Rewards Debit Cards To Help More People Earn Meaningful Rewards

yonder

Yonder, the UK’s leading modern lifestyle rewards card, has today launched two premium rewards debit cards designed to help more people unlock meaningful value from their everyday spending – without needing to use credit.

The launch marks a major evolution in Yonder’s mission to reshape how consumers engage with financial products, with members now able to choose between credit or debit depending on what suits them best.

Yonder’s new debit cards work anywhere Mastercard is accepted and offer the same much-loved perks and rewards as the company’s credit cards – including the ability to use points on any flight with any airline, no foreign exchange fees abroad, curated local experiences, travel benefits and more.

Two new debit card memberships are available today:

  • Yonder Free Debit Card – Earn 1 point per £1 spent on every purchase, zero FX fees abroad, and access to national partners and partners in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bath and Bristol. There’s no monthly fee.

  • Yonder Full Debit Card – Earn 4 points per £1 spent on every purchase, full access to all Yonder Experiences and worldwide travel insurance. Membership costs £15/month or £160/year.

Members can redeem points on handpicked rewards across dining, travel, wellness and entertainment, including favourites like BAO, Urban, Freddie’s Flowers and theatre tickets – as well as a growing set of national partners and travel offers such as Booking.com and Qatar Airways.

The launch comes as Yonder members have now spent more than £170 million, saving over £1.2 million in FX fees and redeeming £1.1 million in rewards since launching in 2022. Yonder’s new debit cards have been built for people who want to earn rewards without borrowing, and for those who want to split spending between debit and credit seamlessly.

Tim Chong, CEO and co-founder at Yonder, said:

“Credit cards can be a powerful tool when used well – but they’re not for everyone. We’ve heard from thousands of people who love the idea of Yonder but prefer to spend on debit. So it was a natural next step for us to extend our rewards network into a debit product.

“It means you no longer need to take out a credit card to access market-leading points earning, great travel perks, curated rewards or fee-free spending abroad. Yonder is now the everyday companion for anyone who wants more out of their money – whether you’re booking a flight or grabbing a glass of wine down the road.”

The Yonder debit cards can be opened in minutes via the Yonder app and comes with in-app customer service, spending insights, full Mastercard functionality, and travel-friendly benefits such as virtual eSIM data packs.

All members – debit or credit – have access to a growing rewards network spanning five UK cities and national perks, with European expansion planned for later in 2025.
