Deus Robotics, which so far has raised $1.5 million in venture capital funding, was founded by Pavlo Pikulin, a serial tech entrepreneur and a robotics optimist, whose lifelong dream was to launch a robotics company. Pavlo’s passion for technology began early. By the age of five, he had written his first computer programme, captivated by the ability to make machines follow his instructions.
By thirteen, he had created a programme to bypass a CAPTCHA in a computer game, which later evolved into an automatic number-plate recognition system. By the age of fifteen, Pavlo was convinced that the future lay in robotics.
This realisation charted his course towards robotics and AI. However, at that age, Pavlo lacked the resources to establish his own robotics company, so he took a slight detour. At nineteen, he co-founded a game development company to fund his dream of working in robotics. After generating sufficient funds, he invested $1 million of his own money to launch Deus Robotics in 2019.
In 2024, Deus Robotics has been chosen from over 100 global tech innovators to join the prestigious DPD UK EcoLaunchpad program. It has also earned award nominations for several prominent industry accolades, including the UK’s Robotics & Automation Awards, Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards, Supply Chain Excellence Awards USA, and the UK’s Tech Impact Awards.
