Finmile was founded in 2022 with a simple idea: make delivery work smarter for everyone. After years of running hands-on logistics operations, we saw the same problem again and again. Retailers, marketplaces, and delivery providers were drowning in inefficiency. Routes were wasteful, vehicles were under-used, and customers were frustrated. The systems meant to connect them were outdated and disconnected.
We decided to fix it from the ground up.
Finmile has built an AI-powered logistics platform that connects the entire last mile. It acts as an intelligent operating system for delivery, helping brands and delivery partners plan, manage, and optimise every parcel from order to doorstep. The results speak for themselves. Our customers have seen route distances reduced by up to 42 percent, customer service queries drop by 91 percent, and claims fall by more than 80 percent.
What makes us different is that we have lived the problem. We started as operators before becoming a technology company. That experience means our software does real work in the real world. It handles route creation, exception management, invoicing, and payments in one seamless platform. Every parcel becomes a data point that improves the next delivery through machine learning.
Our platform powers deliveries for some of the worlds largest brands, including JD.com, Temu, and Inditex. We help them and their delivery partners run faster, cleaner, and more profitably across the UK, US, and Europe. We also enable hundreds of smaller local operators to access the same intelligent tools, helping them compete with giants while cutting emissions and improving transparency.
The last mile is one of the hardest and most expensive parts of the supply chain, and it is responsible for up to 40 percent of logistics emissions. Finmile is tackling that head-on. By helping companies plan better routes, switch to greener vehicles, and use data to avoid wasted miles, we are driving a measurable impact on both cost and carbon.
Our journey has not been easy. We built our technology through a mix of grit and learning from failure. We navigated the collapse of one of our early operations during the energy crisis, rebuilt as a SaaS platform, and emerged stronger with a leaner, more scalable model. That resilience has shaped our culture and our product.
Today Finmile is growing rapidly, with operations in London, Birmingham, New York, and Tripoli. Our platform processes millions of parcels a month, and we are scaling globally with a mission to power the next generation of delivery networks.
