About Victoria Trofimova
Victoria Trofimova is the CEO and co-founder of Nordcurrent, the largest game development and publishing studio to come out of Lithuania and the Baltics, established in 2002. Under her leadership, Nordcurrent has evolved from a small developer-for-hire to a global force in casual gaming, with over 50 released titles and an impressive track record of success. The company’s most popular game, Cooking Fever, has reached nearly 500 million downloads and remains a market leader a decade after its release. Other hit titles include Pocket Styler, Happy Clinic, and Airplane Chefs.
Victorias journey in gaming began while studying computer science and economics, when she co-developed Santa Claus Saves the Earth, Nordcurrents first game, with her husband Michail. With a vision to create games that resonate globally, Victoria has grown Nordcurrent into a company employing over 360 people across studios in Vilnius, Warsaw, Gothenburg, and Ukraine. Known for its innovative approach, the company has expanded its portfolio to include PC and console games, acquiring River End Games and the Cinemaware catalog to cement its position in the evolving gaming market.
A vocal advocate for diversity in gaming, Victoria believes inclusive teams lead to better games and healthier workplace cultures. She regularly champions initiatives to attract international talent to Lithuania and supports educational programs to inspire the next generation of game developers.
