I’m Simone Oloman, the CEO and co-founder of Need It For Tonight (NIFT)—the UK’s first on-demand fashion delivery platform. My sister Roxanne and I launched NIFT in 2023 with a simple question: in a city as fast-paced as London, why wasn’t there a seamless solution for same-day fashion delivery? We set out to change that.
NIFT brings curated style straight to your doorstep in as little as 90 minutes across London, with same-day and next-day delivery available nationwide. But it’s not just about speed—we champion independent brands and hidden gems, alongside global favourites like Ganni, JW Anderson, and Farm Rio.
By blending boutique shopping with cutting-edge technology, NIFT makes finding the perfect outfit effortless via our website and app, available on the App Store and Google Play. And we’re doing it sustainably, with a conscious delivery model that minimises environmental impact without sacrificing convenience.
Since launching, we’ve secured six-figure investment, and I was honoured to be recognised by Retail Week as one of the Top 50 Leaders of 2024. Our mission is to make fashion delivery modern, seamless, and eco-friendly, and we’re just getting started.
Like any startup, we’ve faced challenges along the way. One of the biggest has been running a lean team while managing growth. There’s always so much to do—from onboarding new brands and handling logistics to refining the customer experience and enhancing our technology. Wearing multiple hats has been both a challenge and an advantage, forcing us to be agile, innovative, and hyper-focused on what truly moves the needle.
Another challenge has been getting creative while working with limited funds. Startups don’t always have the luxury of big budgets, so we’ve had to think outside the box—whether it’s leveraging strategic partnerships, maximising organic marketing, or building strong relationships with brands who believe in our vision. Being resourceful has not only helped us grow efficiently but has also reinforced the importance of prioritising what truly adds value to our customers and partners.
Our ability to stay scrappy while delivering an exceptional service is key for us, and we see these challenges as opportunities to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible.
2024 is set to be a huge year for us. Our biggest focus is geographic expansion, starting with Manchester. London has been an incredible launchpad, but we know there’s a demand for what we’re building in other major UK cities. Expanding to Manchester is just the beginning—we want to bring NIFT’s seamless, fast fashion delivery model to as many people as possible.
Beyond city expansion, we’re also rolling out an embedded delivery checkout for brands. This will allow retailers to integrate NIFT’s on-demand delivery into their own websites, giving their customers the option for 90 minute delivery, same-day and next-day delivery at checkout. We want to empower brands to enhance their customer experience with speedy, eco and reliable delivery!
