St Patrick’s Day 2025: 10 Startups Boosting Business in Ireland

Today is St. Patrick’s Day, a festive day of Irish pride. Once started as a religious holiday to commemorate the patron saint of Ireland, St Patrick’s Day has become a modern celebration of Irish Culture.

Whilst some countries will turn buildings and even rivers (yes Chicago, we’re looking at you!) green, here at TechRound we like to celebrate Ireland by spotlighting some of its most exciting up-and-coming startups.

How Has Ireland Grown As A Startup Hub?

A lot of tech companies moved their operations to Ireland due to its favourable tax environment, which charges just 12.5% corporate tax on business profits. This caused a massive surge in tech and startup growth, with big tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Intel, Apple and Facebook all setting up operations there.

The government has also done a lot of work boosting research and development, by offering up tax benefits for businesses that drive it. These factors, as well as the country’s location between Europe and America and the highly educated population, have drawn in tech companies from far and wide.

So, which Irish startups are changing the game?

Let’s take a look at them.
