Quortus has been appointed by USA telecom engineering company Council Rock to help deliver a new wireless-enabled Smart Grid solution across the States.
Quortus Ltd, a UK mobile communications software specialist headquartered in Camberley, Surrey has been chosen by USA telecommunications company, Council Rock, as its mobile core technology partner to help deliver its wireless-enabled Smart Grid TELiG Platform across the United States.
Council Rock’s TELiG Platform is disrupting the Smart Grid market in America by bringing new and wireless-enabled capabilities and services into one single integrated future-proof network for Power and Utility companies to provide smarter metering, intelligent distribution, lower latency and IoT application support. Council Rock’s edge computing platform is powerful and efficient with resources to run third party apps as well as other important utility-specific applications such as legacy protocol conversion and Quortus’ distributed EPC.
