Buildots is the construction intelligence platform. It gives construction teams the information they need to know what is happening on their projects sooner, act faster to overcome issues, and outperform expectations and the market. We are building the foundational AI model for construction. This starts with capturing the messy reality of construction sites. Teams walk projects wearing 360 cameras, drones cover the rest, and cross-domain AI compares that footage against the 3D model and schedule to establish exactly what was built and how fast. The resulting data is accurate enough that clients certify payment applications against it, and it is proven to reduce delays by 50% and generate millions in rework savings.
Founded in 2018, Buildots set out to fix a long-standing problem: construction runs on opinions and half-truths, not the objective data baselines standard in industries like manufacturing. As a result, delays were part of the status quo, and it was accepted that construction was an inherently low-productivity (and therefore low-margin) industry. Advancing the vision of a data-driven construction industry matters more than ever today. The AI buildout is a construction problem: data centres and semiconductor fabs are the physical bottlenecks in compute, and therefore in AI adoption itself, making construction efficiency critical to economic prosperity.
That urgency is already showing up in the results. Revenue grew 4x in 2025, and Buildots now runs on everything from schools to multi-gigawatt data centres and semiconductor fab mega-projects. From its Chicago HQ and multiple field offices, the team support clients across North America, including Intel, Turner, JE Dunn, Mortenson and STO Building Group.
In October 2025, Buildots acquired Genda, adding workforce, safety and logistics data to the platform, now commercialised as Buildots Field. Progress data, on its own, shows what was built. It can’t necessarily explain why. Workforce data closes that gap: it shows who was on site, for how long, and how that maps to output. Together, progress and workforce data give the industry its first automated view of productivity, and make Buildots the first platform to combine the two.
The Buildots Intelligence Lab, launched in June 2026, publishes something the industry has never had: accurate benchmark data. For example, mechanical and electrical crews on data centre projects deliver 20-50% below their planned weekly output, putting timelines at risk. For an industry that has run on opinions and half-truths, that is the start of an objective baseline.
