About CyberSentriq
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) face the same AI-powered attacks as large enterprises, but without the security teams, budgets or tools to match. IBM reported this year that one in four malicious breaches was AI-enabled, at an average cost of $6 million.
Most SMBs rely on managed service providers (MSPs) for protection, and those MSPs are often juggling separate products for email security, backup, recovery and compliance.
CyberSentriq was formed in June 2025 to change that, when cybersecurity specialist TitanHQ merged with backup and recovery specialist Redstor. Today, it works with more than 60 global distributors and over 4,000 MSPs and VAR partners globally, helping protect over 150,000 SMBs worldwide with AI-driven email and web security, security awareness, data protection and recovery.
Merging two companies is rarely tidy. TitanHQ and Redstor each had their own products, technology and partners. The quick fix would have been a shared login over separate products. Instead, CyberSentriq spent 2026 rebuilding everything around one user interface, one API and a shared data layer. Sixteen months after the merger, it works as one platform.
SentriqAI, launched on 8 October, is the result. MSP technicians can now handle email security, tamper-proof archiving and Microsoft 365 backup and recovery across Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Entra ID without switching tools. Being multi-tenant and API-first, it automates customer setup and links to the PSA and RMM tools MSPs already use.
The AI learns what normal email looks like for each organisation, so it can spot a convincing message pretending to come from a known contact. It also explains itself. Instead of a bare risk score, technicians see what raised the alarm, whether the sender, domain, authentication, links, intent or history. Automation has clear limits. Routine jobs like quarantining phishing emails and restoring backups happen on their own. Investigating threats and recommending policy stay with people, with the AI there to help.
That approach matters beyond one company. Much of the MSP security market still bundles separate point products and asks technicians to trust scores they cannot interrogate. SentriqAI shows that unified, explainable AI security can be delivered at SMB scale. For MSPs, that means fewer tools to manage, faster recovery for customers and services that make commercial as well as technical sense, helping them build more resilient and profitable businesses.
