Fem Foundry is a one-of-a-kind global platform and mobile app that focuses on representing women in a broader and more meaningful way. The Fem Foundry mission is to challenge, re-define and broaden traditional networking beyond the boardroom.
To diversify and modernise the women’s e-learning space and breathe new life into it. We provide a diverse and inclusive infrastructure to facilitate positive impact and the growth of all women and in doing so, we influence existing conversations by working closely with those doing the talking.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
I started Fem Foundry because I wanted to create a space where all women could connect, unite and feel like they belong without fear of judgement concerning age, background, identity or family life. I wanted to bring the likes of working mothers and leaders together and give them a platform on which to collaborate and express themselves freely and equally.
I think putting women into boxes is reductive and stifles progress towards a more equal society. After all, women have proven they are capable of taking on myriad projects simultaneously and are able to excel.
To truly inspire and enable women, we need to change the conversation and recognise the value of female capital, while understanding that defining women according to their responsibilities or age is limiting. Instead, celebrating their achievements and aspirations is what will really inspire others and boost confidence along the way.

How has the company evolved during the pandemic?
We launched in January 2020 right before the pandemic hit so it’s been an interesting time. There have been plenty of positives though – the pandemic has focused a spotlight on something we already knew was happening.
People were craving more authentic connections and experiences and as such, the e-learning space has exploded. I think the past year has also forced people to take a real look inwards and consider what really matters to them. Covid has allowed us an extended test-and-learn phase in order to really understand the landscape and adapt the overall messaging and offering of Fem Foundry for the people that use the platform.
What can we hope to see from Fem Foundry in the future?
We have big plans for the future. Women are making incredible strides particularly in the field of entrepreneurship. We’re seeing more women-owned businesses, more female investors, and perhaps most importantly, more brands waving their ‘women-owned and operated’ flag with pride. It’s become a badge of honour, rather than something to hide. Fem Foundry hopes to be at the forefront of this shift.
We’re connecting and enabling women on a global scale across a multitude of industries and we aim to see Fem Foundry become the go-to destination for women around the world.
