OwlGaze is a software and advisory company with a world-class team of cyber experts, AI and data engineers and enterprise software developers. We offer solutions to meet the demand for next-generation predictive and proactive solutions to counter the risk from a dramatic rise in increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

Using advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Blacklight is capable of sophisticated predictive threat detection, based on the collection, normalisation, and analysis of all telemetry data.
Currently, OwlGaze has offices based across London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
The threat detection market is undergoing radical transformation fuelled by continuously evolving changes to infrastructure, remote workforce, budget restructuring, and other business, compliance and security drivers. Today’s businesses, from start-ups through to large, multinational enterprises, are increasingly affected by new and emerging cyber threats and legacy Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms no longer meet the growing needs of security practitioners.
Ralph Chammah (CEO) & Miro Pihkanen (CSO) bring over 2 decades of industry and technical knowledge alongside hands-on experience via OwlGaze. After their extensive experiences with legacy SIEM software, they noticed a gap in an already scattered market. Legacy software has struggled to keep up with the challenges of cloud adoption, digital transformations, and Web3 initiatives falling behind in critical areas such as: proactive detection, speed of deployment, global flexibility and scale.
OwlGaze’s Blacklight software gives today’s security leaders and SOC teams a unique SOCaaS solution with proactive attack detection, investigation and response capabilities. Blacklight works seamlessly and efficiently with other existing security solutions within a client’s technology stack, and uses all available data points to continuously detect, prioritise, and act upon attempted malicious activities.

OwlGaze has been able to begin building a client base across several sectors, including blockchain, crypto and Web3, utilities and energy, hospitality and insurance companies.
What can we hope to see from OwlGaze in the future?
As a market disruptor, OwlGaze aims to be a pioneer in changing the mindset of how threat detection is viewed and utilised in company cybersecurity, migrating away from a reactive mindset to a proactive one.
OwlGaze seeks to empower organisations and MSSP to become more effective with threat monitoring, and help SOC teams become more efficient by reducing their investigation times. In the future, OwlGaze hopes to bring new features and functionalities to Blacklight, pushing the boundaries in innovation and thus bringing greater benefits and growth in the UK, EMEA and further North American expansion.
