About Kajal and Growth Hub Global
Inspired by her immigrant family’s entrepreneurial journey, Kajal started her first business while studying in New York after successful corporate career working in the City and on Wall Street.
Today, Kajal, a driven entrepreneur, advisor and keynote speaker, draws upon more than 16 years of entrepreneurial strategy and innovation expertise with the rigour of top-tier consultancy to educate and inspire the next generation of impact-driven entrepreneurs.
Kajal is the founder of Growth Hub Global, an advisory that partners with ambitious companies, universities, local Governments, FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients to launch innovative and entrepreneurial-led growth products and services.
Using their deep knowledge of entrepreneurial ecosystems, strategy and lean operations, they help clients turn bold ideas into impact driven growth programs and ventures using a strong network of global partners and talent.
Growth Hub Global is planning to increase its reach in Asia to partner and match impact-driven entrepreneurs within the Singaporean startup ecosystem. To facilitate this, the business has sourced 3 advisors; one serial entrepreneur in Asia, one former CEO of a similar advisory business in London and one Marketing Senior Executive in London; and an Asian university and corporate partners to run a national multi-university accelerator for purpose driven businesses in the UK.
Kajal and Growth Hub Global are dedicated to facilitating positive entrepreneurial growth to solve our most pressing global challenges.
In addition to her advisory, Kajal is a passionate advocate of building entrepreneurial skills for university students and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. She sits on the Board of the London School of Economics entrepreneurship, LSE Generate, and has mentored and advised more than 50 early-stage start-ups on business growth, bootstrapping, fundraising and managing mental health through the ups and downs of entrepreneurial life.
In 2012, Kajal co-founded Columbia University’s first incubator for graduate entrepreneurs and built a first of its kind university entrepreneurial ecosystem in New York.
She recently designed and launched the London School of Economics’ (LSE) first Accelerator GAP 1.0 for impact-driven start-ups and serves as an advisor to the Aspect Accelerator — the first cross-university social sciences accelerator in Europe funded by Research England. In 2017, Kajal was awarded the Churchill Fellowship and travelled to 25 cities to conduct research on immigrant entrepreneurship.
