Business: AI-driven job platform, which was launched to help job seekers find the right role to meet their long-term career plans and employers find the best long-term candidate.
About Jamaal and Jobseekrs®
Jobseekrs® is a brand-new unbiased, AI-driven job platform, which was launched to help job seekers find the right role to meet their long-term career plans and employers find the best long-term candidate.
Jobseekrs®, launched by the Barbadian-born entrepreneur, Jamaal Brathwaite, plans to revolutionise the future of hiring by introducing an unbiased process using its new recruiting platform.
It uses algorithms to screen candidates for jobs based first and foremost on how well they not only ‘fit’ but ‘add’ to a company’s culture and skills requirement without displaying any other influencers.
Matching an individual’s preferences with those of an employers’ perceived, aspiring culture, Jobseekrs® will exclude any other factors from the initial process. This will reduce candidate dissatisfaction and the employers will see a reduced churn rate, lower cost per hire, greater retention rates, and ultimately a more diverse workforce.
Inspired by his late mother and my own personal experiences to make a change, Jamaal created Jobseekrs® with a mission, to ensure that everyone is given a fair chance to take employment opportunities regardless of their name, gender, race, sexual orientation, or age. The choice must be based on the person with the best cultural fit and the long-term future of both parties.
Despite the current economic crises due to Covid19, employers are still hiring, and Jamaal felt with so many people furloughed and at home, they would have time to reflect on their careers and workforce and plan for the bounce back.
Jamaal’s goal for his new company is to create a platform that puts equality, job happiness, and fairness at the forefront of the recruitment process to create an inclusive work culture for all. Since its creation in 2017, Jobseekrs® has raised over £150,000 in a seed funding round and is currently seeking further investment.
The startup is already working with businesses both in the UK and the USA including the likes of Bruntwood, Unified Energy Telefonica, and Entrust.
