Our list of Top 50 BAME Entrepreneurs under 50 is a testament to the individuals who are diversifying the UK’s startup landscape.

Thank you to our judges Alix Blankson, Prince Debrah, Jhanvi Gudka and Sithara for your time and effort taken to confirm our final list of special entrepreneurs.

What Did The Judges Think About The Top 10?

Alix Blankson said “An app tackling wealth inequity right at its core! It’s great to see such an accessible tool that can empower the individual in the Black community. As part of an app team myself, I can see Stackwell’s wide-spread adoption and ease of financial education via the interactive format. It has a lot of potential to shift the needle!”

Sithara said “Around 72% of crypto investors are men, compared to the 28% who are women. Women in Blockchain Talks is doing great work to equalise those statistics by educating women about blockchain.”

Learning with EZ stood out to Alix because “The raison d’etre of this company is so needed. Any mission focused on increasing empathy has a thumbs up from me! I’m noticing more and more conversations and action around supporting neurodiverse learning. Very happy to see Learning with EZ as proof. I’d be interested to see where product development goes and how the company scales to touch more early autistic learners and families. “
