In a landmark move, €13B fund manager APS became the first institution to invest directly in tokenised real estate available to retail investors — purchasing €3.4M in MetaWealth assets on-chain. This deal signalled a major leap forward for tokenisation’s credibility in regulated, institutional circles.
Backed by a €2M pre-Series A raise and supported by partners such as Deloitte, ONE United, and Solana, MetaWealth has proven its scalability. It recently secured a full VASP licence in Lithuania and is preparing for MiCA compliance, opening the door to regulated secondary markets and further product expansion.
