We work with high-growth technology companies like Funding Circle, Zego and Gymshark as well as large enterprises going through big digital transformation programmes such as BBC, Sainsbury’s and Vodafone.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?
I met my co-founder Raz whilst we were both studying at King’s College London. Raz wanted to change the face of technical recruitment with a skills-based approach and asked me to join him on the journey – and it’s been a fun ride so far!

How has the company evolved during the pandemic?
A once in a lifetime pandemic creates an incredible leadership challenge for a young CEO and one that I absolutely relished. In the early days, it was about ensuring our team was absolutely aligned in our critical objectives whilst we shifted to a remote work setup.
As the pandemic began to unfold, we knew the paradigm shift to remote work wasn’t going away so we evolved our product and proposition with a remote-first mindset. This, combined with an incredible team, led to us growing revenue more than 3x in the last 12 months!
What can we hope to see from hackajob in the future?
We want to be the category-defining company for tech talent which means having a presence globally, transforming thousands of companies’ hiring processes and impacting millions of tech talent careers.
We see it as our responsibility to not only support the tech talent that exists today, but also have a huge impact on the tech talent of tomorrow, and we’re working on some really exciting projects to do this so watch this space!
