At The Launch Strategist® our mission is to equip organisations to launch into their next level of growth, through business development and strategic marketing consultancy. Our goal is to successfully launch significant ventures that have an impact for generations. Whether a CEO is launching to start a business, launching to grow a business or launching to exit a business, our robust framework and set of processes guide their organisation to that goal.

Essentially, we bridge the gap between what CEOs want and what their senior-management team delivers, making sure every major business launch is a success.

I like to tell to CEO’s to think of us as their ‘axe sharpeners’. Abraham Lincoln famously said; “If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend six hours sharpening my axe.”

We take the time to sharpen the axe so that when organisations launch, it’s precise, accurate and hits the bullseye.

How did you come up with the idea for the company?

Prior to launching The Launch Strategist® in 2019, I had led and managed launches for over 13 years in my capacity as a senior marketing leader. This taught me a lot and gave me unique insight into the elements that cause most launches to fail. As a result our 6P Launch Framework was born, and built on over a decade of real world business experience.

In addition, I’m obsessed with process. W. Edwards Deming hit the nail on the head when he said , “If you can’t describe what you are doing as a process, you don’t know what you’re doing.” ― the truth is most businesses can’t, and that’s why they fail. We help our clients implement really robust marketing and launch processes.

One of thing our clients love about us is that our process is clear and clean; from the initial sales call, through to project implementation and completion. We create order in their business and give them peace of mind in areas that are messy.

The other thing is that, most launches make a big bang and then it’s crickets after the initial launch period. Our approach is to launch strong out of the gate but more importantly, implement an approach that builds momentum over time, we call this ‘launching legacy’. Our goal is to drive revenue over the long-term not just in the initial launch period.


How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?

We’ve evolved from focusing on launching new organisations to, in recent years, including growth and exit strategies. We’ve worked with everyone from not-for-profits to companies with valuations of over a billion pounds.

When we started out, we mostly worked with start-ups, however over time our sweet spot has become more established businesses. These businesses have a track record of success and revenue growth, and now want to launch something significant in their next strategic move.

What can we hope to see from The Launch Strategist® in the future?

Up until now we’ve worked within a range of industries, and it’s been great to see how the 6P Launch Framework can be applied successfully across a range of sectors. From SaaS businesses to non-profits. However, in this next phase of growth we’re focusing heavily on aerospace and aviation which is very exciting.
