About Clair Health

Clair Health is the company behind Clair, the first non-invasive continuous monitor built for hormone-aware health. Using 10 biosensors and over 130 proprietary biomarkers, Clair reads the physiological signals a female body produces and translates them into real-time hormonal insights across each life stage, from the first period through menopause, without blood draws or needles.

The company was founded in 2025 by Stanford graduates Jenny Duan and Abhinav Agarwal. Jenny first encountered the care gap in high school, working with a nonprofit supporting women facing domestic violence and homelessness, where she saw health symptoms dismissed for lack of quantitative evidence. At Stanford, she connected with Abhinav, who had a technical background in the wearable space.

Together, they recognised that wearables had spent a decade collecting the right signals, including heart rate, temperature, and heart rate variability, but no technology had been built with models to continuously read female hormone data, which affects every aspect of female health.

Building Clair required developing a model of the hypothalamic pituitary ovarian axis inside a consumer wearable, something no prior device had attempted. The team designed six custom sensors and trained models on diverse female physiology, including PMOS and anovulation.

Prototype testing spanned over 40 women and more than 5,000 days of continuous physiological data, reaching 94.10% cycle phase classification accuracy and 87% LH surge detection sensitivity with timing accuracy within 1.2 days. The performance held across the full range of Monk Skin Tone shades. To further its clinical commitment, the company is undergoing several studies including the Stanford Gladstone BeeHive program.

Clair Health is solving a problem that exists because women have been under-researched, having been excluded from clinical trials in the U.S. until 1993. The resulting shortage of female-specific research data still shapes diagnosis and care today. Women with endometriosis wait an average of 7 to 10 years for a diagnosis, and up to 70% of women with PMOS remain undiagnosed. Without continuous data on hormone function, symptoms are often dismissed.

Clair Health is building the first large-scale continuous hormonal dataset drawn from real female biology, aiming to close that gap and give both women and their doctors the evidence base that has been missing for decades. Clair Health has built its foundation with a team of OB-GYN and REI specialists, sports medicine physicians, and researchers serving as medical advisors to ensure the technology is grounded in clinical rigor.

This credibility has translated into strong institutional trust, with more than 110 letters of intent from IVF and longevity clinics and OB-GYN practices. Since announcing in February 2026, Clair Health has built a waitlist of more than 30,000 and sold out its first batch of preorders.

In June 2026, the company closed $11.6 million in funding from a group of leading venture and strategic investors, a signal of the confidence that Clair is setting a new standard for wearable technology.
