Environmentally-conscious company, Bare Kind, donates to animal-saving charities with every pair of socks sold.
Improve the World, Don’t Damage It
Bare Kind is a London based business proving that responsibly made products that improve our world, rather than damage it, is essential to the modern day consumer. They source sustainable materials, treat workers fairly, limit environmental harm, and save endangered species with every pair of socks sold.
Consumers Want Environmentally-Conscious Companies
Bare Kind has learnt from Futerra’s 2018 survey that 88 percent of consumers want companies to help them be environmentally-conscious with the products they buy, and Bare Kind listened.
That’s why they donate ten percent of the profits from every single pair of socks sold to new, animal-saving charities every release.
The animal on the sock of a customer’s purchase is protected and conserved by an organisation the company has selected. This is the direction that retail should be heading; giving consumers the opportunity to be environmentally-conscious, and companies the opportunity to use profit profoundly.
Sustainable and Conscious
However they didn’t just stop there. The company wants their customers to know that when buying from Bare Kind they are supporting a sustainable and conscious company. The socks are made in a family-run factory in Istanbul, where all the workers are over the age of 18 and on a fair wage. The dyes in the fabric are non-toxic which means their customers know the company isn’t adding to industrial pollution. The company is taking steps to reduce their carbon emissions by transporting the socks by lorry where possible, rather than a plane.
In addition, all their packaging is plastic free and recyclable. Bare Kind is taking accountability and listening to consumers, making every effort to bring their customers a high quality product that doesn’t compromise on environmental consciousness.
Licy Jeffrey, founder of Bare Kind, comments: “Bare Kind supports charities who are working hard to protect our natural world. If we don’t look after our planet, we will soon lose our most valuable and beautiful resource. Bare Kind donates 10% of profits from the sale of bamboo socks to animal conservation charities. You can help save the world through something as simple and joyful as a good pair of socks.”
