Charese Chambers, CFO, Financial Fancy

CFO, As a Fractional CFO, I teach start up from a place of experience my last 19 years has taught me. ChatGPT has been a game changer for those that seek to understand it and use it as a resource. I teach start up how to use it to write grants for funding, business plans, and even use their goals and ask ChatGPT to make tangible steps for them to accomplish them. ChatGPT is an entrepreneur dream and if they aren’t using it they are missing out.

Robert Shepherd, CEO, Peak & Home Partners

My startup has leveraged ChatGPT for automating content creation, utilising it to generate blog posts, social media updates, and SEO-friendly articles and blogs efficiently, which allows me to maintain a consistent online presence without extensive resources. This tool aids in brainstorming ideas, personalising content, and crafting engaging social media interactions, ultimately enhancing user engagement and satisfaction.

By automating these processes, startups are able to reduce costs and improve efficiency, while also benefiting from the ability to conduct A/B testing and create educational material that builds authority in their industry. As technology evolves, the role of ChatGPT in my business will be a cornerstone.

ChatGPT is an incredible service for startups but it does have its limits. I use it to copy edit my writing and remove passive language, a starting point for research, and running analyses on basic datasets.”

It’s great but I’ve learned you still need to fact-check its work, or make sure its pulling the most recent data. Therefore, I use towards the beginning of my projects instead of relying on its output as a finished product.

Ever since we started this venture, we have included ChatGPT in several of our processes. First, we applied it to organise customer service, promptly answer frequently asked questions and improve customer satisfaction. As intelligence and capabilities increased, ChatGPT was essential in streamlining the writing process and the capacity of the company to produce content for products such as a marketing campaign to create professional and comprehensive data reports.

Recently it has been used for managing personal user interactions for creating personal interaction that can assist in personalising services depending on the users’ preferences. It has also helped in the improvement of efficiency and the fact that more time is being devoted to strategic development and innovation.

Hannah Parvaz, Founder, Aperture

ChatGPT is at 200 Million Monthly Active Users worldwide.

Since its launch, ChatGPT has helped me become more efficient in all areas of my businesses: I run an advertising agency and a product consultancy. Where we work with numerous tech companies on their business strategy, creative, onboarding, monetisation and more.

One key way I have used ChatGPT is by transforming transcripts of my conversations, interviews, webinars, podcast episodes, and more into a custom GPT which helps me ideate, write copy, and come up with creative briefs for testing.

Typically when we use ChatGPT, we start with about 20% of an idea. ChatGPT then helps us progress to 80-90%, after which we refine with human input to complete the work.

We have also built custom GPTs for all of the companies we work with, training them on customer psychology, messaging, and performance data. This allows us to ideate quickly and iterate.

Beyond creative tasks, we use ChatGPT for meeting summaries, analysis, and data cross-referencing.

For example, when I carried out a data analysis project earlier this year, ChatGPT helped us correlated spikes in performance across Meta Ads, product releases, PR, and other marketing activities.

Slim Geransar, Founder, REI Litics

I am a solo founder of a startup and use ChatGPT for a variety of tasks. I have created several specific GPTs to help with each area.

Startup Mentor
This GPT is one that helps me when I’m stuck. I trained it to act as a startup mentor. As a first time founder, this is a great way for me to learn everything I can.

Branding & Messaging
This GPT is trained to know my brand personality. This way any content I create I can pass through this GPT to make in more on brand. Great for creating website messaging and also for my email marketing.

SEO and Advertising Expert
This GPT is trained to help me create and optimize effective advertising, as well as improve my SEO as they work hand in hand. Allows me to utilize the existing keywords into campaigns and create engaging adverting headings and descriptions.

Legal Aid
This GPT is designed to act as a first step to understanding the legalities of business operations. I use this cautiously to decide if then I need to really seek true legal help. But it is great to help draft privacy and terms of use policies as a starting point.

Jon Higham, Managing Director, FeelGut

“Our AI platform is able to identify an unhealthy gut microbiome profile that increases someone’s risk of chronic disease and illness.

We use ChatGPT to help us analyse microbiome readings for over 50,000 patients, the overall health of those patients varies with some patients suffering from certain conditions or symptoms such as IBS, autoimmune disorders, weight gain, food intolerance and even at risk of developing chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, attention disorders and more. On the other hand, many of the patients are healthy, with no known conditions, or symptoms and are at little risk of developing any chronic conditions.

Our AI looks for patterns within the gut bacteria of those people, and their known conditions. It can then match someone’s microbiome profile and their gut bacteria to existing microbiome profiles and help identify symptom-causing bacteria that can cause symptoms or increase the risk of developing several health risks or chronic conditions.

After a microbiome reading, we then provide a personalised nutrition plan to an individual with the help of our AI platform which analyses the molecular structure of foods and the effect they will have on specific gut bacteria.

Using the concept of starving the bacteria the patient needs less of and feeding the bacteria they need more of; we can completely rebalance the gut microbiome and improve symptoms and overall health.

The best part is, that we are only really scratching the surface with research and development into the gut microbiome and how it can improve our overall health. AI seemed like the only tool to help us analyse so many patient data points of the 50,000 patients that we have.”
