Dating App for Like-Minded Individuals

The new philanthropic dating app which allows you to meet up with like-minded people in your local area.

Meet Like-Minded Individuals

Locals.org is an app that brings like-minded people together to meet in town and share what they love the most. Every meet-up generates impact for local charities and their causes. A valuable concept that sees the involvement of a seasoned entrepreneur, social activist, angel and impact investor like Natalia Vodianova: with more than 20 tech companies in her investment portfolio, with Locals.org she keeps on putting her energies and vision on businesses truly able to create a positive change in the society and improve people’s life.

With the digital world more and more encouraging online connections, people end up with unnecessary chats and an overload of online buzzing, certainly not able to build solid and profound friendships. Whilst endlessly evolving platforms for digital encounters continue to reshape the methods of connection, Locals.org has identified a very specific challenge: connecting personalities, more than random strangers. The app helps people find and meet those they’ll click best with, making it easier to build a network of real friends, where one can genuinely and comfortably be their true self.

Locals.org App

Locals.org app, currently available on IOS and active in London and the UK only, allows you to choose those you want to physically meet in town by joining the activities they’ve suggested you do together. From hugging trees at a local park, to volunteering together for a local charity, hiking, playing tennis, having drinks on a rooftop. The variety of unique personalities who have already joined Locals.org led to a wide range of activities, making it easier for Londoners to share what they love the most or to be dragged into something they’ve never thought of – polo lessons, forest baths, poetry writing, horticultural walks and filmmaking secrets to name a few.

To make the meeting happen, people have to pledge any offer which will go to a local charity making every meet-up even more purposeful.

Locals.org also allows people to meet some top personalities by joining some exclusive activities suggested by influencers and big celebrities, like Camilla Fayed who hosted a didactic experience at her biodynamic farm in Kent, where she cultivates the organic ingredients for her Farmacy restaurant in Notting Hill. Natalia Vodianova, supermodel and Goodwill Ambassador for UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, opened one of her talks with the United Nations to Locals users who could be at her side while she was giving a speech about gender equality.
