Founded in October 2024, SpaceD was born to solve a “Twin Crisis”: the explosive demand for AI compute and the rising tide of “stranded” urban real estate. While traditional data centres are “grid-locking” cities, consuming up to 75% of local electricity in areas like London’s Isle of Dogs—SpaceD finds a smarter way.
We connect real estate owners with data centre operators through our AI platform to deploy ultra-efficient micro data centres exactly where they are needed. By leveraging existing building shells, we slash deployment costs by 40% and site acquisition time by 90%. Our proprietary orchestration layer, EcoRoute, even shifts flexible AI workloads to match real-time grid capacity and thermal limits, making compute truly “grid-aware”.
