What is Steel Warriors?
Steel Warriors is an anti knife crime charity working to use steel to build lives rather than destroy them. The charity melts down knives that have been taken off the streets and recycle the steel into outdoor street gyms.
Using these repurposed steel gyms, Steel Warriors use street workout to transform the lives of young people affected by crime, violence and social exclusion, giving them the skills and confidence to create positive futures far away from crime.

Where are the Steel Warriors outdoor gyms located?
The Steel Warriors outdoor gyms are all located in gang neutral zones. Currently, there are three locations where people can access the outdoor gym facilities.
- Langdon Park, Tower Hamlets, London E14 – open air and accessible at all times
- Ruskin Park, Lambeth, London SE5 – open air and accessible from 7AM to 15 minutes before sunset.
- Finsbury Park, Haringey, London N4 – open air and accessible from dawn to dusk.
