Treepoints simplifies climate action, helping people and businesses to understand their impact on the environment and then do something about it by offsetting their carbon footprint. We take the headache out of offsetting and reward people for doing good for the planet. We also provide a simple API integration for businesses to make their products and services climate positive through carbon offsetting, plastic collection and tree planting.
With a few questions about lifestyle, diet and travel, the Treepoints calculator offers an accurate estimate of your carbon footprint and recommends the best offsetting plan for you. This includes planting trees and collecting ocean-bound plastic as well as offsetting your entire carbon footprint, creating a comprehensive planet positive subscription. All this for less than the price of a pint a month. Once subscribed, members can see their progress on a personal dashboard.
Every donation funds world class carbon offsetting projects from solar cookstoves in Chad to clean energy from biomass in China. Our projects have all been independently verified by internationally recognised standards including The Gold Standard and The Verified Carbon Standard. Tree planting is done in partnership with Eden Reforestation Project and ocean-bound plastic collection with Plastic Bank. This ensures the efficacy of all our projects and their contribution to sustainable development.
For every donation, users earn rewards in the form of (tree)points. These can be spent on the Rewards Platform with sustainable brands such as Brewdog, Patagonia, and Lush. This rewards people for taking positive climate action, and incentivises sustainable shopping habits.
Businesses can offset their workforce with a simple subscription that accounts for work travel and work-related carbon emissions. Companies can also make their products and services planet positive with a simple integration that adds carbon offsetting, plastic collection or tree planting into the checkout flow.
