About &SISTERS

&SISTERS is a female-founded wellness brand on a mission to create a sustainable menstrual health ecosystem to support those who bleed through all stages of life. Founded in 2017 by mother-daughter duo, Claire & Lucy Lettice, &SISTERS has disrupted this outdated retail category with their range of 100% organic cotton and reusable period products. Having both experienced the stigma and shame surrounding periods, they set out to create the most extensive, hyper-personalised range of vegan and plastic-free products centred upon 3 key principles: better for our bodies, better for our planet and better for our sisters.

Their eye-catching, luxurious and earth-friendly packaging sets out to challenge perceptions and reframe the narrative around menstruation. By moving away from ‘hygiene’ and more towards ‘beauty and wellness’, they’re on a mission to get people talking, shopping and using period products with pride. Knowing that periods are personal, the brand has designed an extensive and inclusive product range to appeal to all sisters- no matter what their age, cycle length, flow or lifestyle preferences.

For those desperate to ditch the disposables, the nüdie™ period cup is the perfect option. Designed by &SISTERS and a leading female architect using innovative 3D printing technology, the silky smooth and plastic-free nüdie cup collects rather than absorbs menstrual fluid and can be worn for up to 12 hours – saving the average menstruator over £1500 in product purchases during it’s 10 year lifespan! To date, &SISTERS are proud to have saved over 16million disposable period products from ending up in landfill and are actively encouraging more sisters to make the switch with their #letsgetnüdie campaign.

For menstruators not yet ready to embrace a zero-waste period, &SISTERS tampons, pads and liners are made from 100% organic cotton without pesticides and require 91% less water and 62% less energy to produce. Certified organic by Soil Association according to the Global Organic Textile Standard, their cotton is sustainably sourced and totally free from chlorine, bleach, fragrance and other nasties often found in mainstream brands. Unlike mainstream period products composed of upto 95% plastic which contribute to the fifth most common form of ‘plastic waste’ found on EU beaches, &SISTERS products are plastic-free and 100% biodegradable with outer packaging that is fully recyclable, helping people break the single-use plastic cycle with their menstrual cycle.

As part of their commitment to empower and inspire future generations of sisters, &SISTERS donates 10% of profits to female health, education and economic empowerment initiatives across the world. The company is also a 1% for the Planet member, committing to donating one percent of its annual sales to environmental causes.
