About Fundsurfer
Fundsurfer launched in 2014 in Bristol, as a reward and donation-based crowdfunding platform, we then created our hybrid crowdfunding and investment model offering direct investor & donor introductions and access to other funding options.
We aim to hit £40m-£50m raised for our clients by the end of 2023 and £100m raised by the end of 2024.
We have worked our way up through investor tiers steadily with a lot of milestones hit over the past couple of years in particular. Alongside my role as Fundsurfer CEO, I have been a family office and UHNWI advisor for five years, sitting on the advisory board at Tsang’s Group an HK-UK single family office. I am also a strategic advisor to Ligo Partners, a Miami-based family office. Ligo invested $327m in growth-stage tech companies in 2022.
We have been able to help some of the largest investor groups in the world with deal origination. Our approach to connecting with investors directly has led to us sharing deal flow with groups like Stonehage Fleming, Unilever Ventures, Pricoa Private Capital, M&G Investments, Blackrock, CBRE Global Investors, Pictet Private Banking alongside numerous prominent family offices and private investors.
Investors need our help urgently and companies will always need to source capital.
Our investors are Family Offices, Investment Banks, Private HNWI, Angel Investors, VC Funds and large Institutional investors across the UK, US, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
We have a large commercial deal pipeline across top-tier investment opportunities mainly in Tech, Media and entertainment, Impact Investment and Renewable Energy
In the past 18 months, we have hit some big milestones – we have closed $5m for our first Series A round, $10m for a Series F round and first Unicorn client raised £325,000 for our first community share offer, $350,000 raised for Ukraine humanitarian projects and we helped close a Series B $350,000 investment in May 2023 for our first LATAM client.
We are reviewing 60+80 pre-vetted top-tier deals a month, (mainly from our family office network) most deals come with lead investors and 50%+ of the round committed. All ranging from Series A-F. They close generally within 8-12 weeks. We are also working on secondary investments with a similar approach to our equity and debt placement work.
