About Youtility
Youtility is a subscription management technology platform, built for banks and fintechs to help their customers save money and reduce their carbon footprint directly from their existing banking or money management app.
Citizens Advice estimates each UK home overpays by £987 annually on their core household subscriptions with 8 in 10 homes paying too much for their energy. 31% of a UK’s household emissions come from heating, and changing to a sustainable energy supplier is one of the most simple and impactful things a person can do to reduce their environmental impact.
Through data injection and the utilisation of industry datasets, Youtility hyper-personalises and optimises the experience for the end customer ensuring it’s tailored and targeted for each underlying user.
This has resulted in market-leading conversion rates with consumers saving upwards of £600 annually across their energy, broadband and mobile contracts, whilst reducing their carbon footprint by more than 25%.
Youtility is a team of 13 based in London. Our development team brings significant enterprise level expertise from groups including Microsoft, Transferwise, Zopa and Experian.
To date Youtility has raised just under £6.0m, with our most recent funding round in January 2020 where we brought onboard Barclays bank and three of the UK’s leading social impact funds.
They are working closely with the largest and most innovative suppliers and banks to deliver additional solutions to help decarbonise homes and support the UK’s net zero ambition.
