The startup was founded in February 2015, and the idea came about to co-founder James Jenkins-Yates after he put his property on Airbnb. He saw a gap in the market: that whilst short-lets can make considerable money, the admin involved can be incredibly time-consuming for those putting their property online. Jenkins-Yates decided to create the solution himself, brining on board Tom Jones and Daniel Scott as founders too.
