Founder: James Jenkin-Yates, Tom Jones and Daniel Scott
Business: Airsorted is a management startup that makes letting out properties on Airbnb a hassle-free experience and is live in 10 cities worldwide. How does Airsorted do that? The startup deals with guest communications on your behalf, and deals with all the things such as cleaning linen and restocking, as well as providing 24 hour check in to customers. Those that sign up with Airsorted can also maximise on profit, as they help you to optimise rates for the best earning potential. Airsorted also has an app, so users can easily track and control their property’s performance, wherever they may be in the world.
This is what it makes it different to other Airbnb hosting startups: its automated system helps to fully streamline operations.
The startup was founded in February 2015, and the idea came about to co-founder James Jenkins-Yates after he put his property on Airbnb. He saw a gap in the market: that whilst short-lets can make considerable money, the admin involved can be incredibly time-consuming for those putting their property online. Jenkins-Yates decided to create the solution himself, brining on board Tom Jones and Daniel Scott as founders too.
