Australian-startup, Calming Blankets, launched officially in the UK in September 2019, offering innovative heavy duty or ‘weighted’ blankets, designed to help those with anxiety and sleeping problems.
Calming Blanket’s cover is made from ultra-soft minky fabric, which is a soft gentle material commonly used for baby blankets. It consists of long fibres which are soft, durable and machine-washable.
The blanket has a launch pouch inside filled with non-toxic glass beads to create the weighted feeling and the experience of being ‘hugged’.
Available in white, blue or grey (ocean, granite or quartz) and retailing from £145.00, you can choose from different weights of 4.5kg, 6.5kg and 9kg.
The products have become a huge sensational and the latest must-have bedroom accessory.
