Joseph Lovell, Co-founder of Planty is fully immersed in UK food culture. With a Michelin star background and having worked hundreds of hours in Gordon Ramsay’s kitchens, including the well-known Petrus restaurant, Joe is helping to create a better way for people to switch to eating more plants.
Joe co-founded Planty in 2019 with an ambition to create a plant-based delivery offering that was wrapped around eating better, tastier and being better for the planet too. Customers can expect to receive restaurant-quality dishes which are packed with fresh, natural ingredients naturally resulting in maximum flavour all arriving in minimal packaging which is 100% recyclable, compostable or returnable. This is a healthy, tasty, plant-based food that arrives effortlessly at your doorstep whenever you need what feels like your own personal chef.
Planty has also been awarded three Great Taste Awards. Their Not-a-Chicken Tikka Masala and Sticky Date Pudding were given the Guild of Fine Food mark of approval in 2022.
