Clarvo is an artificial intelligence platform that drafts United States employment-based immigration petitions, built specifically for EB-1A extraordinary ability and EB-2 National Interest Waiver cases. We went deep on the two most evidence-heavy petition types rather than covering the whole field shallowly, because accuracy here is not a matter of polish. It decides whether a researcher, physician, engineer or founder gets to stay and work in the United States.
I founded Clarvo after six years practicing United States immigration law and managing more than 4,000 employment-based cases. The company exists because of something I watched happen. I finished drafting a complex EB-1A petition, the kind that takes an experienced attorney the better part of a week, then saw a well-funded legal AI tool produce something nearly identical in about forty seconds. It was wrong. Not obviously wrong, but wrong in a way only someone who had argued these cases before USCIS would catch. Attorneys were submitting work like that, and I started hearing about the denials.
So we built the whole pipeline instead of a text generator. A user uploads a background and Clarvo generates a tailored evidence checklist. Documents go into an Evidence Vault where our Classification Engine reads each one, assigns an exhibit name, and returns full reasoning for which sections it supports. An Evidence Mapper distributes the vault across sections, and the platform flags what is still missing before any drafting begins. Draft Studio then drafts each section independently with exhibit citations, after proposing argument groups the user can accept or restructure.
Three things set the product apart. Delta Drafting means adding or removing a document changes only that language, so prior work is never destroyed. Deficiency Notes analyze every drafted section against real USCIS Request for Evidence language and flag weaknesses before filing rather than after. And our USCIS Policy Search answers questions only from the Policy Manual and the Code of Federal Regulations with citations inline, because a fabricated legal citation in this field is not a bug, it is a denied case. Alongside these sit Letters of Recommendation drafting, Endeavor Statements, a Form Builder covering I-140, I-907, G-1650 and Department of Labor forms, an RFE Response workspace, and a customizable final filing packet. The final step in every workflow is attorney supervision.
The hardest challenge has not been technical. It has been trust. Law firms had been burned by tools that overpromised, and that scar tissue applied to the entire category. Attorneys are personally liable for what they file and adopt nothing on the strength of a demo. Winning them meant proving accuracy case by case and treating patience as an advantage.
The impact I care about is the United States talent pipeline. Employment-based immigration is how American companies hire the researchers and founders who build here. Growth from here means expanding petition coverage and extending to the employer side, where administrative drag is heaviest. The principle stays fixed. Automate the mechanical work. Never automate the legal judgment.
