The only tool on the market to offer an end-to-end solution for high-quality professionally styled subtitles burned-in to video
The tool that made VEED, the AI video creation platform, a household name for creators is now powering leading AI and creativity platforms thanks to the launch of its new Subtitles API. When creators were manually captioning content frame by frame, or abandoning subtitles altogether, VEED made professional-grade subtitling fast and accessible to anyone. Over 300,000 creators use VEED’s subtitling tool every month. That single capability drove mass adoption, built a loyal creator community, and put VEED on the map.
The new Subtitling API is the only API on the market to provide an end-to-end solution for styled and burned-in subtitles. Where other solutions for dynamic styling are complex, VEED’s Subtitling API delivers a single asynchronous workflow that automates transcription, styling and rendering. Users simply upload their video and get back content with embedded dialogue transcription, dynamic subtitling and brand-aligned fonts and colours quickly, at scale, and across teams.
For teams building automated video pipelines, social media tools, or SaaS platforms that need high volumes of captioned video, there is no longer any need for manual editing. The API provides access to VEED’s automatic word highlighting tool (designed to drive attention retention online), and localisation across 100+ languages. As a result, deep technical skillsets are no longer required to generate video for audiences in multiple markets.

Seven platforms have been granted exclusive early access ahead of the API’s public availability on the Fal marketplace next week. These are Figma Weave,, Creative Fabrica, Arcads, Polished Ads, Clara, GIMI, and BigMotion.
“Subtitles are where VEED began, the thing creators told their friends about. We’ve spent years making that capability best-in-class, and now we’re opening it up to the wider industry,” said Sabba Keynejad, CEO & Co-founder of VEED. “The future of creativity isn’t about adding more tools, it’s about embedding the right capabilities into the workflows people already use. That’s why creative platforms are partnering with us to bring powerful video experiences, like subtitling, lip syncing and image-to-video generation, directly to their users. We’re focused on building the technology that helps creativity scale, and making it easy to access through our APIs.”
The launch has already drawn strong interest from platforms building automated content workflows. “We’re always looking for ways to make content creation easier for our audiences,” said Andrew Knocker, founder and CEO of GIMI. “VEED has significantly improved the speed and quality of on-brand content through their APIs. Following the success of Fabric 1.0, we’re excited to integrate their Dynamic Subtitle API to make creator content even more engaging and on-brand.” Ilai Alrod, founder of Clara, put it more simply, saying, “VEED provides the infrastructure that enables Clara to connect small businesses to the modern era of social media based marketing.”
“We built Figma Weave as a place for teams to craft high-quality visual workflows, from idea to final asset. With VEED’s Subtitle API, video subtitles become part of the creative process instead of an afterthought – fast enough to keep up with iteration, with stylistic control to make them more engaging,” said Itay Schiff, Creative Director of Figma Weave.
The launch of the Subtitle API marks VEED’s continued expansion of its developer platform, building on the success of Veed Fabric, its proprietary image-to-video model. The API is priced at $0.10 per minute, with resolution and complexity multipliers designed to scale with pipeline volume. VEED will continue to expand the API’s capabilities and style library in the months ahead.
