My Afro Caribbean Wedding is changing the way black and multicultural communities plan their events and weddings. Their platform offers a suite of collaborative planning tools for events and weddings.
The innovative platform enables users to plan their events with a guest list manager, budget manager, to do list, check list, create a wedding page, Guest RSVP, search and shortlist through a vendor directory of suppliers, and more.
Users can also give reviews for the vendors and provide feedback based on their service. The site is free for users and currently charges vendors a yearly subscription (from $50 to $150 per year) depending on the type of membership package.
Launching its first MVP product in January 2019, My Afro Caribbean Wedding have grown into the go to platform for events and wedding planning across the black and multicultural community in the UK and US.
Their growth is due to the missing niche market not tapped into by any of the major wedding planning platforms to cater for the needs of the black and multicultural community. Since its inception, Olalekan and his team have 700+ registered site users, 250 registered vendors and over 350k followers on our social media channels.
